I wanted to follow up on my previous review and take a moment to express my gratitude. A special thank you to Ms. Carter for all of her hard work and dedication to making sure the daycare runs so smoothly. It's clear how much love and effort she puts into creating a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for the children.
All of the staff truly go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure the kids are well cared for. I’m always so pleased when my daughter comes home clean, with her dishes and lunch bag tidied up — it’s such a thoughtful detail that doesn’t go unnoticed and is so appreciated.
The curriculum is fantastic! My daughter is now 2 years old, and we are seeing so much growth. She is talking more, learning new things every day, and is even starting her potty-training journey. Every day she comes home with a new skill or story, and it's so clear how much she is thriving thanks to the wonderful care she receives.
A very special thank you to Ms. Madison and the other incredible teachers in Rylee’s class who are so patient, kind, and helpful with everything.

I have been bringing my daughter to First Learning Stages Daycare in Oxon Hill, Maryland, for about a year and a half now, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare. From the very beginning, Ms. Karen, the owner, showed such kindness and compassion. She graciously made a spot for my baby girl Rylee when I really needed help, and for that, I will always be deeply grateful. She is truly a blessing, and her dedication to providing quality care shines through every part of this daycare.

The daycare itself is absolutely amazing—it's incredibly clean, safe, and well-organized. Unlike many other daycares, there are no unpleasant odors, and the environment is welcoming and well-maintained. Their curriculum is thoughtfully designed to engage the children, helping them learn and grow while having fun.

But what truly makes First Learning Stages Daycare stand out is the staff. They treat both the children and the parents like family. These are not just young, inexperienced workers—this is a mature, professional, and passionate team who know exactly what they're doing. You can feel how much they love and care for the kids, going above and beyond to make sure every child feels safe, happy, and cared for.

I want to give a special thank you to Ms. Kate, Ms. Nikia, Ms. Tracy, and Ms. Madison—they have been absolutely fantastic with my daughter. She has been attending since she was just 1 year old, and it has brought me so much peace knowing she is in such good hands. The rest of the staff are just as wonderful. Honestly, the whole team is phenomenal.

I only wish I had known about First Learning Stages Daycare when my first daughter was younger. It is truly a gem. If you are looking for a daycare where your child will be loved, nurtured, and well cared for, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Thank you again to Ms. Karen and the entire team for everything you do. You are making such a difference in these little lives, and we are so lucky to have found you!

My 2 month old Taliyah just started attending this daycare a few weeks ago me and dad love it our baby is in good hands love the staff so friendly and welcoming. The director is awesome also the lead infant teacher

This daycare is absolutely amazing. The entire staff is dedicated to their craft on making sure our children has the best learning experience while nurturing them like their own. My daughter is so in love with this daycare that she can't wait until mornings to go see her friends. The staff embrace her each morning with love that I am proud to call this daycare home away from home. Don't mistake this awesome daycare facility with the terrible daycare in Oxon Hill where the teacher abuses the innocent children. No not that daycare. First Learning Stages Daycare rocks!!!

I love the staff at First Learning Stages. My kids have been there since there were 3 months and 6 weeks old, they are now 2 and 4 years old. It is such a nurturing and clean environment for children. The staff's devotion and experience with infants, toddlers, and young children is unmatched! They treat our little ones as their own all the while teaching and mentoring them for future success. I have watched my children grow at a tremendous rate and owe all the thanks to Nana and the rest of the team!

This an Incredible Daycare , a positive black owned family business, the daycare is very clean, the decor is fun, the equipment is up to date, it smells good, the staff is on point, and the rates are affordable. They are well organized, very attentive, nurturing, and passionate about children. I highly recommend this daycare #enrollurkidhere

I love this daycare center! They taught my daughter maleah everything!

This daycare is amazing. All the staff took so much time to help my babies adjust, learn, and grow. Both of my babies left potty-trained ( youngest is 2) Both children had much better communication skills after leaving their care! They were truly a blessing. There was never an issue with communication or updates either. 10/10 would recommend!

Hello Beautiful Ones... First Learning stages daycare is incredible, The facility is immaculate, The staff is friendly, nurturing, attentive and passionate about the kids. My two sons have been with the staff at First Learning Stages Daycare Center since April of 2016 when my oldest was only 3 1/2 months old. They always have provided a clean, nurturing, and trusting environment where I felt like family and comfortable enough to leave my infant child. As my son grew up I watched him grasp on to things quickly, and advance academically beyond toddlers his age. It was a no brainer when I had my second son in 2017 that he would be a devout student as well at First Learning Stages. The experiences for my children have been safe, fun, and beyond promising for their futures. I feel fulfilled knowing that they both will have the knowledge that they need to step into Kindergarten prepared and confident to succeed. Thank you Nana and the rest of the team for always treating our little ones as your own and doing what needs to be done for the growth and interests! I love you guys dearly!

My daughter has been attending First Learning Stages since August of 2019 and I can't imagine finding a better daycare center for my 3 year old. I finally found a daycare that is like a second home to my daughter. She loves going to school (as she call it) everyday. I have never felt more comfortable trusting the staff at any daycare center before, with my child. The staff at First Learning Stages genuinely cares for my daughter. You can tell that everything they do is for the children and also that they love what they do!
The tuition affordable and the education program at First Learning Stages is phenomenal. I can see a drastic difference in only a few short months with my daughters recognition of letters and the development in her writing. This place is worth every penny. We love First Learning Stages and I can't imagine finding better care for my daughter.

My daughter has been attending this daycare for years. I love the quality and loving care she receives. She even asks to go to daycare on the weekends. Very refreshing.

My son just started going here, but it's a great fit already. He's having a great time and I get so much communication. I can tell it's a well-run place as well, the kids are never running totally crazy. I'm excited to see how he develops here over time.
